My name is Thomas Baumgart, and  have been a math teacher at Lapeer High School for the past six years. During this time I have taught an array of courses including geometry, algebra, physical science, and conceptual physics. As of last year, I adopted AP Calculus BC and have been working hard to develop solid curriculum and AP test preparation. It has been an exciting, fun, and tremendously difficult challenge.

I currently working toward my MS in Education at Walden University with a focus on educational technology. I received a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from U of M – Flint where I graduated with high honors. Teaching math is my passion and I work extremely hard in order to provide the best educational experiences for my students.
